The Legislative Commission actively follows the Legion Legislative positions, monitors upcoming legislation for veteran and military impact, organizes the Washington, DC and Albany, NY On-the-Hill visitations, while continually getting the word out to our membership for legislative action items.

Sons, Legion Family, and Associates:

Now that we are all safely home from the Washington Conference it is time to get to work. I am requesting that you share the information below as widely as possible so that we can share the knowledge with all members of The Sons of The American Legion.

December 2017 National Legislative Newsletter

2017 Combined Point Papers from National American Legion

We need to ask our members to take time to review the information and then reach out to their Congressional Representatives and Senators in their home district offices to push for the support that is needed.

As an organization, The Sons of The American Legion supports "ALL" Legislative Priorities that the National American Legion has brought forward. We, as Sons members, can help The American Legion change the future of our country, our communities and for our Veterans.  Please do not put this off until tomorrow, act today!

Thank you,

David W. Lee, Legislative Commission Chairman
